Modular homes are built to be lifted and transported, making them extremely strong — often stronger than traditional stick-built homes. They are designed to withstand 150 mph winds and meet coastal and hurricane-rated standards.
FEMA studies show modular homes often perform better than traditional site-built homes in hurricanes. Built in a controlled environment and engineered to withstand transport and crane-setting, they create a tighter, stronger structure that meets or exceeds local wind and impact codes.
